Live the Dream Profile: Jim Kukral

Under30CEO highlights people who live the dream by selecting passionate individuals from all walks of life, regardless of age. Today’s Live the Dream Profile is dedicated to internet marketing guru Jim Kukral. The web business coach seems like a guy who can really do whatever the hell he wants. Speaking, consulting, coaching, blogging and University of San Francisco professor Jim does it all. Jim’s work can be seen everywhere social media as well as in major publications such as the Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, Forbes, and Inc.

However, Jim wasn’t always respected as much as we tried to get to the bottom of his success. For Jim, it’s the decision he made to succeed and the responsibility he took on as a family man.

“About 8 years ago my wife became pregnant with our first child. I was 31 and she was a highly paid publicity manager. We both wanted her to quit her job, stay at home and raise our children. But that meant that I would be the sole breadwinner in the family. Why am I successful all these years later? Because I choose to be.

I decided to go out and do it. I decided to take responsibility for providing for my family. I decided to stop watching TV and play video games all the time. I decided to work hard.

This is your choice. Nobody controls you. You’re either going to do it or you’re not. Don’t blame anyone but yourself. If you want, go take it and work to your fullest. If not, stay in the booth.”
