You may have heard the name Clay Clarke that was on the news recently and you might be wondering who he is and why he is facing a lawsuit. Well, Clay Clark is a Tulsa businessman and podcast host. The lawsuit was filed based on his statements about fraud in the 2020 presidential election. If you’re curious about the details of this lawsuit and what it all means for Clay Clark, read on!

Who is Clay Clark?

Clark Clay is Entrepreneur from Tulsa. He owns stakes in nine small businesses, from fitness to roofing, medicine and online education. Clay was introduced to entrepreneurship while in high school and started his first business in a college dorm.

Now at the golden age of 33, when a successful business generates passive income for him, he spends most of his time with his newest venture, Thrive 15. This is an online podcast platform where Clay invites successful business people and aspiring entrepreneurs on the same platform and records their interactions, sharing real business wisdom and advice in 15-minute videos.

Clay is also a family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and five children. He strictly makes sure that he is at home every night so that the family can spend time together.

What’s with the claim?

Eric Coomer, former director of security and product strategy for Dominion, is suing Clay Clark in federal district court in Denver for conspiracy, defamation, and willful mischief. He believes Clark’s claims that Coomer and the Dominion are helping President Joe Biden “steal” the election are unfounded. Coomer also claims that Clarke said that Coomer deserved the death penalty for high treason.

The lawsuit names Clark Clay and alleges that he defamed Eric Coomer by making statements in front of a live audience that Coomer and Dominion were involved in electoral fraud. According to the lawsuit, Clay claimed that Joe Biden was elected because of this scam. According to Coomer, Dominion Voting Systems provides support for elections in at least 30 states. So you see how serious this allegation is and why Coomer filed the lawsuit.

The complaint states that Clarke, Thrive Time and the Re Wake America tour waged a “relentless smear campaign” against Eric Coomer.

The lawsuit seeks a permanent injunction that requires Clark, Thrive TIme and ReAwaken America Tour, among other things, to remove all libelous material or live broadcast footage made against Coomer.

To make such claims, Clark must have some evidence. Otherwise, it will be difficult for him to back up his claims if someone challenges him for it.

Plus, the current lawsuit is still something Clark has to go through. We’ll see what happens and if Clarke withdraws his statements and removes the material from the Internet.
