Create your life: 15 things for the next 15 years

This week’s inspiration: Matt Wilson, co-founder of Inspiring people to go and live the dream.

business enterprise: I want to host a TV show – talk about great entrepreneurs “Living the Dream” in the style of MTV Cribs. Spend a day with someone like Jake Burton, founder of Burton Snowboards?

Philanthropy: Under30’s CEO needs a non-profit division. I would like to work with the Fresh Air Foundation and take an entrepreneurship course at their city summer camps.

Toy: 50′ Post Sportfisher. Keep it at home for the summer, in the BVI for the winter. I grew up around boats, I wanted them since I was 8 or 9 years old.

Housing: Anything out of the ordinary, with a great view, Martha’s Vineyard will do. Just a place to relax. I’m not a materialist, it doesn’t have to be big – I’d sleep on the boat anyway.

Hobby : Telemark Skiing– Ski on all 7 continents: first I will go to Mount Kilimanjaro in case all the snow in Africa melts.

Adventure: Amazon jungle tour. I have been to the mountains, the desert, the ocean and many other places, but I have never been to the jungle.

Target: Make the cover of Entrepreneur Magazine. Top 25 under 25 would be nice.

An experience: Green Bay Packers home game. My father and grandfather gave me their shares in the Green Bay Packers. I need to go to Lambo Field and get acquainted with the history of a small town in America.

Dream: Downhill mountain biking down a volcano in South Africa.

professional goal: I need to move from the “opening act” to the keynote speaker. I want to be on the speakers’ bureau.

Lifestyle: Personal assistant. Sounds selfish, but why don’t you pay someone to get rid of your headache? Time is the most valuable resource in the world, why waste it on shit you hate?!

Skill: I’m good enough to ski and mountain bike, but my surfing skills need some work. How about a surf camp in Hawaii?

TargetA: Be on top of my game every day. Life should be an upward spiral, not a slow death – I want every part of my life to continually improve until death.

cultural challengeA: live outside the US for an extended period of time. I would try the South Pacific.

South Pacific

Final goal: Change the world. In the next 15 years, I expect to leave a legacy that people can say, “Matt Wilson, he did his part to make the world a better place.”
